After a hiking trip to a nearby park, Sadiq is inspired to start an
Exploring Club. When a neighbour asks the club to create a
scavenger hunt, the kids are excited! But before they can lead
others on a nature expedition, they'll have to do some exploring of
their own.
Sadiq's big sister, Aliya, was recently cast in a community theatre
musical. When Sadiq and his friends hear her practising, they
decide to put on their own play for their friends and family. Sadiq
volunteers to be the director, but when he makes decisions without

In the first book of the brand-new early chapter book series, the Alien Next Door, an alien boy named Zeke tries to fit in and adjust to life on Earth, while a classmate, Harris, suspects that Zeke might not be quite what he claims to be.
Zeke is on his way to his first day of school, feeling down because he has to start over again on a new planet, as his scientist parents constantly move to wherever their research takes them.
